About Nigel’s photography tours
When travelling with Nigel you’ll be with a small group of like-minded photography.
In the time you’re together, Nigel will take you to some of his favourite photo locations in the chosen region. There he’ll use his vast experience to show you the best, and often, most unusual ways to photograph them, using camera angle, lens choice and light to produce the most stunning images.
Throughout, he’ll give constant, individually tailored, advice on both photo composition and technical camera handling techniques. For those that request it, he’ll also give guidance on post-photography processing steps.
Photography tours with Nigel Hicks in 2024
I’ve been a bit slow to restart photography tours following the pandemic, but for 2024 we’re kicking off once again with a five-day tour to one of my favourite locations in the world (and one of the most photogenic): the coasts and moors of west Cornwall, in England’s far southwestern toe.

Wild West Cornwall
On this photography tour we’ll be visiting the wild and rugged Atlantic coastal scenery of England’s far southwestern toe. In autumn, this will be just when the winter seas will be building, creating some dynamic and exciting coastal photography opportunities.
Dates: 3rd-8th November 2024
Locations: the far western part of Cornwall, between the Lizard and Land’s End, Britain’s most southerly and most southwesterly points, respectively.
