My first photography workshop and I was little out of my comfort zone, I need not have worried! Nigel made us all feel at ease really quickly while we waited for on a late arrival.
Nigel took us to the first location so we could get down to some landscape photography. The weather was not great but this did not dampen Nigel’s enthusiasm and made it easy for us to get on and start shooting!
Some photo’s of a sea landscape and of a waterfall and we headed back to Boscastle for a hike up to the top of the cliff edge with Nigel leading the charge!
I had a fantastic day with a great group and learned a lot from Nigel and would highly recommend his workshop to anyone with an interest in pushing their photography skills!
I managed to get some great photo’s (for me) and am looking forward to booking up again!
I had a truly fabulous workshop day in Dartmoor with Nigel. We began the morning in Ivy Woods, exploring along the beautiful River Erme, where I captured some wonderful images thanks to Nigel’s excellent tuition (and the generous loan of his tripod, as I’d forgotten mine!).
In the afternoon, we climbed up Sheepstor, and the effort was more than rewarded with spectacular views. The sunshine and bracing wind made for challenging photographic conditions, and I came away having learned so much — feeling both inspired and motivated to keep improving.
Thank you, Nigel, for such an enjoyable and inspiring day. I’m already looking forward to joining another adventure next year!
I spent a great afternoon with Nigel. Much more than just camera skills, learning about composition will change how I photograph. Thanks Nigel for teaching me how to take great photos.
Nigel really helped get the best out of my camera and we had a super day on the river Dart. Strongly recommend.
Very glad I signed up for this course, getting the chance to take the camera to Exmouth and Budleigh Salterton during the evening and late at night is not something I can do often! Thanks to Nigel’s excellent tuition, planning and ‘ordering’ wonderful weather conditions, I learnt a lot about camera settings in low light and darkness despite the difficulties of actually seeing the controls on the camera. Following the course, it was a bonus getting Nigel’s feedback about a couple of my images.
