Journey through the Philippines

Nigel’s latest book about the Philippines

Touring around the country, visiting many of its most beautiful and most important locations.

Published in March 2017, this beautiful, glossy photo-led book takes a tour through the Philippines, travelling roughly from north to south along the islands, visiting 30 of the nation’s most beautiful and most important visitor sights.

Places visited range from the rugged mountains of the country’s largest island, Luzon, to the stunning coral sand beaches of the central Visayan islands, the magnificent cliffs of the Calamian Islands in Palawan, and a number of active volcanoes, including Mayon, Taal and the infamous Pinatubo.

Not a book about just the Philippine countryside and coast, several cities and historic sites are included too, ranging from the nation’s capital, Manila, to the old and historic Hispanic town of Vigan, today a UNESCO World Heritage Site, together injecting a strong cultural element to Journey through the Philippines.
