Western Ireland photography tour

Dates: 13-19 June 2020


A view from Clogher Head towards Sybil Point, Dingle peninsula, Co Kerry, Ireland.

13 June: Arrival in Dublin, with some photography in the city, if time permits. Overnight in Dublin.

14 June: Drive (with our own hired minibus) towards the Dingle peninsula, County Kerry, on the southwest coast. Photography around the Dingle peninsula. Overnight near Dingle town.

15 June: Morning photography around the Dingle peninsula. Then drive northwards, taking the ferry across the River Shannon to County Clare. Photography at the spectacular Loop Head and the Cliffs of Moher, some of Europe’s highest cliffs. Overnight in or near Kilkee.

16 June: Drive northwards to Galway, stopping in Galway city for some photography. Then driving west towards Connemara National Park, with photography around the coastal inlets at Roundstone, followed by Derryclare Lough and the Twelve Pins peaks. Overnight in or near Clifden.

17 June: Photography in and around Connemara National Park, including the Maumturk Mountains, Lough Inagh, Kylemore Lough, the coves, beaches and islets around Claddagduff and Omey Island, plus possibly a trip out to Inishbofin Island (if time allows). Overnight in or near Clifden.

18 June: Early morning photography around Clifden, followed by photography around County Galway, including the Partry Mountains, Lough Mask and Lough Corrib. Later in the day, returning to Dublin. Overnight in Dublin.

19 June: Return home.

For all locations on the west coast, low light pollution and clear air should provide good opportunities for some great night sky star photography, provided the weather is clear.

How to book and pay

To make a confirmed booking, please supply us with your name(s) and all contact details, and pay a non-returnable deposit of £100.

Payment is by BACS bank transfer, PayPal or cheque only.

To take advantage of the 10% discount on the total bill be sure to make your confirmed booking by 31 Jan 2020.

Please remember that your booking is not confirmed until the deposit has been received by us.

The remainder of the fee is payable by 1 April 2020.

If you would like to pay in instalments this is fine: please talk to us about this to arrange the instalments and to set up a standing order with your bank.
