Books
In addition to providing the photography for a huge number of books, Nigel has also written a number of his own. Four of these hinge around travel, nature and the environment in the Philippines, while the other four cover a range of photographic skills and techniques. His latest book is The Digital SLR Bible, published by David and Charles. while another book - about the Philippines - is currently in production.

Commissioning
Nigel is always on the lookout for new writing commissions, either through submitting his own ideas or by receiving direct approaches from publishers. Although Nigel frequently supplies only text to publishers, much of his work, whether magazine, newspaper or book, is supplied as complete text-and-photo packages, saving editors the struggle of searching libraries for images to match his text, and providing the option of agreeing package fees that generally work out rather cheaper than payment on a per word and per image used basis.
