library contains approximately 30,000 images, held mainly as
transparencies (35mm, 6x7cm and 6x4.5cm formats), though with a growing
proportion now digitised.
- All images are available for usage,
and can be supplied either in transparency form or as high quality digital
files.
- Low res sample images can be
downloaded from the website for proofing purposes, while high res
publishable quality files can be supplied via CD. At present, no high res
images can be downloaded directly from this website.
- However, 1000 NHI images can be
downloaded directly from the online library, Alamy.com. If you prefer to
the speed of downloading directly from the internet rather than waiting
