Below is a proposed itinerary for the Scillies photography tour, outlining the places we’re likely to visit and the photography we’re likely to do. Please bear in mind that this is only an outline, and may well be changed at any time, depending on weather conditions and the arrangements that can be made with the Scillonian boat men.
Day 1, 14 April: Once everyone has arrived, we'll do some afternoon, sunset and dusk photography on St Mary's, particularly around the harbour, and the shore to the north of the harbour.
Day 2, 15 April: Morning ferry to Tresco to go to Abbey Gardens, then afternoon photography around Pentle Bay on Tresco.
Day 3, 16 April: Dawn and sunrise photography on Outer Head, St Mary's. Morning ferry to St Agnes and Gugh to photography coastline and coastal flowers here. Afternoon ferry to Bryher to photograph Hell Bay in later afternoon light.
Day 4, 17 April: Early morning wildlife photography on hired rib, around Western Rocks and/or Norrard Rocks, landing also on Samson Island. Later to St Martin's for the rest of the day.
Day 5, 18 April: Morning and early afternoon photography on St Mary's, before departure back to the mainland.
