When travelling with Nigel Hicks, you’re in the company of an expert traveller and travel photographer, someone with literally hundreds of shoots, spread all over the world, to his credit.
Few photographers know more about travel and travel photography than Nigel, so join him in a magical tour and let him show you how to capture the beauty of the world, whether landscapes, wildlife, cities or people.
When travelling with Nigel you’ll be with a small group of like-minded photography enthusiasts (max 10 people).
In the time you’re together, Nigel will take you to some of his favourite photo locations in the chosen region. There he’ll use his vast experience to show you the best, and often, most unusual ways to photograph them, using camera angle, lens choice and light to produce the most stunning images.
Throughout, he’ll give constant, individually tailored, advice on both photo composition and technical camera handling techniques. For those that request it, he’ll also give guidance on post-photography processing steps.
Accommodation will be in comfortable, middle range hotels that give not only comfort and good food, but which also give a flavour of the region.

A 10-day photographic journey of a lifetime through India’s ‘Little Tibet’, one of India’s northernmost regions, bordering Tibet, and beyond the Himalayan divide from the rest of India.
This will be a fabulous trip through stunning mountain landscapes and a unique Tibetan and Buddhist culture, during which we’ll visit the Hemis Festival, one of Ladakh’s biggest annual festivals, held at the Hemis Gompa, the region’s largest Buddhist monastery.
